ISA at LogiMAT 2012

ISA GmbH and Jungheinrich AG exihibit together in Stuttgart

It is the first time that ISA GmbH of Graz and Jungheinrich AG of Hamburg present themselves as partners to the trade visitors of LogiMAT 2012. In the Software Hall (hall 7, stand 421), visitors will get the chance to pick goods with a Jungheinrich truck and follow the picking process live on a computer in Jungheinrich WMS.

ISA GmbH of Graz exhibits at the International Trade Fair for Distribution, Materials Handling and Information Flow in Stuttgart, Germany, presenting a variety of new software modules and extensions of the profile based Warehouse Management System ISASTORE®. The Austrian system solution provider with subsidiaries in South Africa and China introduces new functions of the shipping unit calculation, the optimisation of multiple-deep storage systems and batch traceability that is also applicable for mixed-batch storage or dynamic back storage.

Convenient handling and efficient packing processes

The newly developed module for calculating shipping units pre-calculates the ideal stacking pattern for goods in shipping units while considering the order of both packing and picking procedure. The optimal use of space and volume of shipping units such as pallets, containers etc. reduces the need of stacking locations and facilitates an optimal utilization of loading volume in all means of transport.

Profiles control automatic warehouses and picking processes
New strategies for multiple load handling have been implemented to optimize multiple-deep storage systems in automatic warehouses. The highly standardised and developed batch management and traceability has been greatly extended in its functionality and manageability. ISASTORE® WMS is now also capable of providing complete traceability of batches in mixed-batch storage systems.

Faultless picking through rotation indices

The newly implemented rotation indices enable a graphic display of sectored containers which is always adjusted to the picker's point of view, irrespective of the container alignment.

With live demonstrations, trade visitors can discover the profile technology, new functions as well as the scope of performance and capabilities of the warehouse management system in combination with industrial trucks.
